Many people who use steroid drugs still do not know how to do injections correctly, everything is just by hearsay and according to the usual method. Most will not answer correctly if you ask the difference between an injection in the deltoids and the buttocks. This article will tell you how to do everything right...

Let’s look at the degree of effectiveness of the systemic injections using illustrative examples:

- 70% of the administered drug enters the general bloodstream when injected into the deltas;
- 85% is obtained when using the thigh for injections;
- 100% in case of an injection in the gluteal region.

Local injections, or local injections as they are also called, are used to increase the strength of a specific muscle group and the drug is injected directly into these working muscles.

It's worth remembering that:

- injections must be made with an insulin syringe (2 ml) with a needle length of 45-60 mm;
- oil solutions (synthol, testosterone esters) are also made with a 2 ml syringe, but the needle length is already 25-30 mm;
- Many muscle groups can be used for injections, but be very careful in the calves and biceps.

Subcutaneous injections

They are often used when administered:

- growth hormone;
- insulin (can also be done intramuscularly, the process goes faster, but it is also more difficult to control, so subcutaneous injection is preferable);
- insulin-like growth factor

You should not inject steroids in one place, as this can lead to thinning of the subcutaneous fat layer in the area of the injection.

Abscesses, tumors and hematomas

Basically, such phenomena appear as a result of negligence, the use of an unsterile syringe, a steroid of poor quality, or the body’s immunity to a foreign drug.

When tumors appear, they are treated with iodine nets, compresses and electrophoresis. If it ruptures, it can cause an abscess; in this case, electrophoresis or antibiotics also help, and in extreme cases, surgery.

Hematomas are easier to cure, because in this case the capillary is simply damaged, which leads to inflammation. In this case, a variety of ointments, a cold compress and then a warm one, iodine mesh and special gels are used.
